So many times with science fiction it is easy to get lost in the gee whiz world of star ships and computers that the characters can get lost. Not so in this case. The author has created an interesting band of space travelers. The core concepts behind the plot involve very human characteristics like ambition, trust, and friendship so even readers who do not normally read sci-fi can relate. I think this is another fine example of a self-published work that raises the bar a little bit higher.Product details

A first time published author is a bit of a gamble, and any sci-fi book written prior to the I-Phone age may have some serious problems, but Greg really put together a neat story that still stands today. Certainly you may see some familiar patterns however Greg has at least two or three rather unique textures to his tail. I won't give them away, and maybe you've seen them in other works, but for me there is some newness here; surprising given the book was written nearly 20 years ago.
This was a very readable book. It had an excellent story line and was really a great first book. I hope there will be more.
I was glued to this book; it had many twists and turns throughout the story. Very action packed and I felt like I was right there, in the middle of it all. I'm looking forward to future writings!
In a book world full of sparkly vampires and urban teen fantasy, it is refreshing to have a traditional, mature sci-fi novel with space travel, strong characters and mystery. Greg Lundburg puts some much needed science and space travel back into science fiction.
Enjoyed book. Not a Sci Fi fan, but read it like good guys versus bad and good guys won. But the good guys win by outsmarting their opponents. How?? Guess you'll have to read it.
Metamorphosis is a gripping, fast-paced read from up-and-coming author Greg Lundberg. Once I picked this up, I couldn't put it down. The story is engaging, with an original, deadly threat to the human race. The characters, well developed, keep the story's pace set on 'thrill'! If you want a quick read for a long flight or lazy afternoon, this is an excellent choice.
